Cryolipolysis, or Fat Freezing, is a new technology designed to help you get rid of those pesky fatty cells. In the past, non-invasive treatments include ultrasound liposuction. The heating of the fat cells, combined with massage, melted the fat into the lymph node system of your body to be flushed away naturally.
Now the reverse treatment is available.
How does fat freezing work?
You are essentially cooling the fatty cells in your body to temperatures of zero and below, which effectively kill them off.
So when you have an area of stubborn fatty deposits, we can isolate them into a “butter block,” and once frozen, they naturally move through the body’s lymph node system.
Your body takes a few weeks to get rid of the fatty deposits, which can use help from massage, cavitation treatments, and radio frequency treatments to tighten the skin.
How often do I need to do the treatment?
It all depends on the levels of results you want to achieve. As this is a non-invasive treatment, you cannot expect the instant effects you would typically get from going under the knife with liposuction. You can, however, see results from the first treatment.
Clients love seeing the reduction in centimeters and how their clothes start to fit. It is recommended to do at least three treatments to get great results.
What areas can you treat?
Almost anywhere. The fatty areas that are hard to move are the belly, buttocks, thighs, and arms. You can treat your neck and chin, but cavitation and RF may be better for delicate skin.
The treatment includes both areas if you are looking at treating your legs, for example.
What can I do to improve the efficacy of the treatment?
Like most things, it is not the silver bullet solution to keeping fatty deposits away. A good diet filled with fresh vegetables, limited refined carbohydrates, and daily exercise will all contribute to the overall success of the treatment.
